Alsace Spirits – Liqueurs and Creams

As with wine, the quality, flavour and finesse of the eau-de-vie depend on the fruit. That’s why our spirits are made from the best fruit in the Alsace region.

Our eaux de vie, with their original flavours, are produced by hand in small copper stills. Distilled twice, our eaux de vie are the result of a very rigorous selection process: only the toast cores take on the name of the fruit.

Eaux de vie

They are obtained by distilling the fruit. A distinction is made between white brandies, which are bottled immediately after distillation, and brown brandies, which are aged in oak casks. They contain 45 degrees of alcohol and are best drunk chilled (between 6 and 8°C), especially as an after-dinner drink.

Liquors

Obtained by maceration (which gives them their colour) and distillation, liqueurs contain a minimum of 100g of sugar per litre. They are very fruity, contain 35 degrees of alcohol and are drunk chilled as a digestive or in cocktails.

Creams

A fruit concentrate, crèmes are liqueurs with a very high sugar content of between 200 and 450 grams per litre. They are drunk as a small liqueur, and their 18% alcohol content means they can be used in a variety of ways, including in cocktails and the famous ‘KIR’.

A commitment to quality and nature

At Domaine Bléger, the excellence of our wines is based on a profound respect for nature and a constant quest for quality. For several generations, we have been cultivating our vines in harmony with their environment, convinced that the richness of a wine begins with the soil that nourishes it. Our estate is certified organic, a strong commitment that guarantees practices that respect the soil, biodiversity and the vine’s natural cycle. We favour natural methods, banning synthetic pesticides and herbicides to preserve the purity of our grapes and the authenticity of our terroirs.

Vinification

that respects the grapes

Our hand-picked grapes, natural fermentation and minimalist vinification reveal the authenticity of the Alsatian terroir, producing pure, balanced wines full of character.

Sustainable and

responsible winegrowing

We cultivate our vines with respect for natural cycles, favouring grass cover, manual work and organic practices, thereby preserving the biodiversity and balance of our terroir.

Controlled

environmental impact

Committed to a sustainable future, we are reducing our carbon footprint by optimising water management, using lightweight bottles and adopting eco-responsible solutions at every stage of our production.
