Crémant d’Alsace is the best-selling sparkling wine in France after Champagne. It owes a great deal of its finesse and originality to the Alsace grape varieties.
The methodology of Crémant d’Alsace is the same as that of Champagne, it is the traditional method. The wine gets these bubbles thanks to a second fermentation in the bottle.
At the field, the crémant is made out of ripe grapes to obtain a perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Moreover, we accentuate the bubbles’ fineness thanks to an ageing on lath for a minimum of 24 months and a manual riddling on racks.
The Crémant is drunk chilled (between 6 and 8°C), it accompanies both aperitifs and desserts and it is drunk for small and large occasions. It can be drunk within 3 years of purchase.
